OPTIMIZED POWER TUNING
Some tuning companies give you options to decrease horsepower for off-road, towing or better fuel mileage. Reality is when tuned properly across the entire RPM band there is never a reason to de-tune an engine. Optimized tuning is well…optimized. It’s the best it can be, the most power and fuel efficiency plus it’s safe to use in all situations. Hypertech delivers optimized Power Tuning for regular and premium octane that has been tested and proven to enhance bolt-ons like headers and aftermarket air intakes.
CUSTOM TUNING FOR VIPER THROTTLE BODY
Select remapped throttle body parameters for larger throttle body (Viper) to correct idle issues and eliminate “check engine” lights.
ADJUST THROTTLE RESPONSE
Customize your throttle response by setting the sensitivity level by speed range – 4Lo, Low, Medium, High speeds to improve the driving characteristics of your Jeep under all conditions.
TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS)
Set the tire pressure threshold that triggers the alarm. Adjust the OEM TPMS value from 2-100 PSI to stop annoying beeps and flashing dash lights when off-road.
MULTIPLE IDLE SETTINGS
Choose and save the idle RPM option that best fits your needs.
1) Normal Idle Speed – The normal idle RPM in 2WD or 4Hi.
2) 4Lo Idle Speed – Separate idle RPM in 4Lo.
3) Winch Idle Up Speed – When there’s a hard drain on the battery at idle, this setting will automatically raise the idle rpm to provide full alternator charging capacity and automatically return to normal once the battery is charged.
COOLING FAN “ON/OFF” TEMP:
Adjust “on/off” temperatures of the cooling fans to match the temperature rating of the installed thermostat.
TIRE/REAR GEAR CALIBRATIONS
Correct the speedometer/odometer and part-throttle shifting tire sizes up to 44” and/or non-stock rear gear ratios.
TOP-SPEED LIMITER
Raise the top-speed limiter to match the speed rating of factory-approved tires or lower the governor to 25 mph.
REV LIMITER
Raise the engine’s RPM “rev” limit to take advantage of the extra power you gained from your other aftermarket modifications like an air intake or exhaust.

Turn the engine fan on and keep it on no matter what the coolant temperature is.
RAPID IDLE UP
Instantly change your idle speed on-the-fly when you need full power from your alternator for winching, welding, etc.
DISABLE TRACTION CONTROL
Eliminates the OEM traction control so you can control your throttle and braking without computer assistance.
SWAY BAR DISCONNECT
(RUBICON ONLY) Extends the operation of the electric sway bar into 4WD-Hi and 2WD modes up to 25 mph. Above 25 mph, it will automatically re-engage for safety.
DIFF LOCKER CONTROL
(RUBICON ONLY)Put more power to all 4 wheels to get moving in the snow or mud. You can choose to lock front and rear differential lockers in 4WD Lo, 4WD Hi, or 2WD mode.
